DWAYNE ALLEN

2012 third-round pick Dwayne Allen is another important piece of the Colts’ offense, a unit that used a lot of two-tight ends sets over the past few seasons. He was hurt quite a bit in his three years in Indy and played 30 games, completing a full season during his rookie campaign.

In 2014 he had a high ankle sprain that bothered him for a while and he was never able to play at full strength, catching just 29 passes for 395 yards. Despite a low number of targets (50) Allen had a huge amount of touchdown receptions, pairing his teammate Coby Fleener with eight.

Now he’s entering a contract year and planning to play lighter after a full recovery from previous injuries. If he can indeed stay healthy he will have a big year with the Colts.
