Indianapolis Colts Roster Breakdown: Tight Ends

JACK DOYLE

25-year old Indianapolis native Jack Doyle did not play a lot of snaps but when he was on the field he played well. He can both block and catch and can line up as a fullback if necessary. Last season he saw a mere 22 targets but catched most of the balls going his way. 18 receptions, 118 yards, two touchdowns: these were his numbers in 2014.

No roster spot is guaranteed at this point of the (off)season but Doyle has a very good chance at making the roster in 2015 thanks to his versatility. Should one of the top-two guys miss any time the Colts have a very good replacement waiting for more opportunities to show his value.
