Calvin Johnson, Detroit Lions

It’s evolved from opinion to generally accepted fact that Calvin Johnson is one of the greatest wide receivers in NFL history. He’s set records, dominated his era and is the very definition of a matchup nightmare.

Sadly, the Detroit Lions have made the playoffs just twice since Johnson was drafted.

Essentially the wide receiver version of Barry Sanders, Johnson is already a legend. He became the fastest player ever to reach 10,000 receiving yards and isn’t slowing down—when he’s healthy

If he can remain on the field, Megatron has a strong chance to enter the GOAT conversation.

Thus far, he’s led the NFL in receiving yards twice and led the NFC in receiving touchdowns another two times. He set an NFL record with 1,964 receiving yards in 2012 and already has six 1,000-yard seasons.

One the most dominant offensive weapons in NFL history, Johnson deserves to win.
