Steve Smith Sr., Baltimore Ravens
Steve Smith Sr. is a true legend. He’s one of the most productive wide receivers in NFL history, becoming such as an undersized player—before it was cool to be an undersized player.
Sadly, 2015 will be Smith’s final season in the NFL.
It’s now or never for he and the Baltimore Ravens.
Much like Larry Fitzgerald, Smith has made it to and shined in the NFL Playoffs. He reached Super Bowl XXXVIII, where he recorded 80 receiving yards and a touchdown in a three-point loss.
For the Carolina Panthers, he’s the greatest wide receiver of all-time.
For the modern NFL fan, he’s one of the toughest wide receivers to cover in the NFL.
Smith still has it.
Smith can still tear secondaries apart. He’s still a near impossible assignment in man coverage and has yet to falter because of his size, as many said he would.
If he retires without a championship, it’d be an absolute shame.
