4. Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers
Aaron Rodgers didn’t accumulate many passing yards during his close battle with the division rival Chicago Bears. He accounted for just 189 yards through the air, although he did run for another 35 on eight rushing attempts.
Fortunately for the Green Bay Packers, Rodgers still managed to etch his name deeper into history with another three-touchdown outing.
It seems as though Rodgers is making history every time he plays.
The reigning NFL MVP completed 18-of-23 passing attempts, throwing three touchdowns to no interceptions. He did this without injured wide receiver Jordy Nelson, which projects to be his task for the remainder of the 2015 regular season.
With Davante Adams, Randall Cobb and James Jones at his disposal, Rodgers was methodically brilliant in yet another annihilation of the Bears’ secondary.
The 27-21 victory pushed the Packers to 1-0 on the season. Rodgers’ performance thrusts him right back into the MVP discussion.
