Speaking of Palmer, despite passing for 352 yards and completing 63.0 percent of his passes last week, he missed badly on a pair of late throws that could have gotten Arizona into potential game-winning field goal range with under two minutes left.
He also threw a bad interception on a deep ball to John Brown that came late down the middle.
As PFF’s highest-graded quarterback, it might seem nitpicky to point out three throws. But all other things about the game aside, those throws cost the Cardinals a chance at a 4-0 start.
