A Win Is A Win
It doesn’t matter how sloppy it was at times. The Eagles came away with a big win for the second-straight week. Even better, it was against their bitter rivals in the Giants. The run game stepped up, Bradford made key plays, and DeMarco Murrary took off on the ground. Winning games in a pretty fashion don’t get teams bonus points. At the end of the day, the Eagles came away victorious by being the better team at the Linc on Monday.
There’s much to take away, break down, and learn from before their next game, but they can celebrate for one night. After games on Week 17 and teams are in the playoffs or not, no one cares how a team won. From here, it’s important to learn and clean up what went wrong. If they can’t, then there will be issues, but right now the team took care of business against their divisional rivals.
Overall, sloppy or not, the Eagles are in the driver’s seat in the NFC East by taking the lead for now. A win is a win no matter how ugly or pretty it looked and it gives teams confidence moving forward.
