It really doesn’t matter that Jay Cutler is playing against his former team. Most of the players and coaches he played with are gone, so it’s irrelevant to this matchup. With that being said, he will be competing against a dominant defense led by a dangerous Von Miller who will be looking for the old Cutler, the one that was susceptible to throwing interceptions under pressure and getting sacked at every turn. But he has a strong offensive line that has his back and will do everything in their power to protect him.

Cutler will have to continue to do his check downs and follow his progressions. He will have to continue to throw long on hook routes and then focus on quick release with precision. Cutler will be looking closely at the safeties and corners, especially with Aqib Talib coming back from suspension. He must get rid of the ball early and quickly. It is his battle to lose or win depending on how well he executes.
