Wait, what? A kicker in the first round. Let’s get serious for a moment as to how many games this season in which NFL teams have choked due to failed field goal kicks. May I remind you of the game against the San Francisco 49ers, where the Bears could have easily one that game with a simple 40-yard kick by veteran clutch kicker Robbie Gould. However, he missed two much needed field goals in that game and proceeded to do the same the following week against the Washington Redskins. Hence the need for a kicker, even in the first round.

Roberto Aguayo has the most accurate leg in the draft thus far. He has tremendous confidence in his ability to make any kick, connecting at least 80 percent of his field goal tries over 50+ yards. How does 4-out-of-5 sound to you? Even though he has two years of eligibility remaining at Florida State, he has the talent to be that rarity who declares early. With so many teams in need of clutch kickers, the Chicago Bears may want to consider him in the middle rounds.
