It’s time to take a look at the 2017 NFL Power Rankings Week 15, with the Philadelphia Eagles fearing the worst with Carson Wentz’s injury.
While the Philadelphia Eagles remain near the top of the 2017 NFL Power Rankings Week 15 following Sunday’s big win against the Los Angeles Rams, the team may have to face an unexpected challenge with an injury suffered by Carson Wentz. Unfortunately, the MVP candidate was forced to leave Week 14 early with a knee injury, and as much as Eagles fans don’t want to hear it, early signs indicate Wentz may have a torn ACL, although nothing will be confirmed until Monday.
Still, when looking at how Philadelphia has worked their way into being serious Super Bowl contenders this season, the loss of Wentz would be absolutely devastating for this team when looking at how much of a leader he’s been on offense. And as much as the Eagles want to claim they’ll be just fine with Nick Foles under center if needed, the backup still has a long way to go when it comes to proving himself to his teammates and the city.
As bad as it sounds, it was tough for Philadelphia fans to enjoy being the first team in the NFL to clinch a playoff berth after winning the NFC East title, but the good news is they’re guaranteed at least one home game come January, unlike a majority of teams on this list. Starting off with the Cleveland Browns yet again, here are the latest NFL Power Rankings for Week 15.
