The Dallas Cowboys haven’t made any headlines to this point in free agency, but they could still improve by looking at these five available players
So far, the Dallas Cowboys have been incredibly quiet in free agency. Fans have been getting restless about this, but it shouldn’t come as a surprise. In recent seasons, the Cowboys have often stayed away from the first-wave of free agents, as they often get massive deals which usually don’t match the level of production.
Shockingly enough, Dallas did try and get involved in the overpaying. Reports suggested they were all-in on wide receiver Sammy Watkins, and offered the speedy former first-round pick close to the same deal he landed with the Kansas City Chiefs.
For those craving change in Big D, that’s good news. It means the Cowboys know they need to add players who can make a difference. While they struck out on Watkins, there could be more in the works, especially after they freed up cap space by re-working center Travis Frederick’s deal.
Even so, don’t expect them to go crazy with signing huge names. Instead, they could look to find players at a good value with plenty of upside. Here we look at five possible players they could target.
