There are still many interesting prospects who would make sense for the Chicago Bears left on the board. The Bears would undoubtedly be interested in a trade down in this scenario, but they would struggle to find a partner after the Giants traded up for Rosen. With that in mind, the Bears stand pat and select Virginia Tech linebacker Tremaine Edmunds.

Edmunds is an extremely fast and explosive linebacker prospect who has massive upside at the next level. Edmunds is a freak athlete who shows the ability to defend from sideline-to-sideline. His range in the middle of the field is incredibly impressive both as a run defender and in pass coverage.

Edmunds is an incredibly exciting linebacker prospect who has a well-rounded skill set. His speed and athleticism immediately stand out, but Edmunds is not afraid to step up and mix it up on the inside. His strength and power at the point of attack hold up, balancing his entire game extremely well.

Simply put, Edmunds is a freak athlete who has a ton of natural upside and ability. He is a big-time run defender who can also dominate in pass coverage. Adding Edmunds to the mix would immediately give the Bears a defensive player who they can build around. This is a team on the right track and Edmunds could be the piece to take them over the top.
