2. Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears

Robinson is probably the most gifted wideout on this list. Even in his own draft class, I ranked him higher than Sammy Watkins, who was viewed at the top of the class by most. He’s been special going back to when he was breaking records at Penn State. We’ve really already seen him be elite. In 2015, he hauled in 80 passes for 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns. Unfortunately, the wheels really feel off for Blake Bortles in 2016 and Robinson tore his ACL Week 1 in 2017.

This has caused A-Rob to almost become a forgotten man. For some ungodly reason he’s become overshadowed in Chicago by guys like Trey Burton and Anthony Miller who don’t have close to the talent of Robinson. He’s had a whole year to recover from his injury and I expect him to have a monster year with Mitch Trubisky and the Bears.

Let me be clear, he will be the top option in Chicago. He may not get 150 targets like did in Jacksonville, but 130-140 is very possible. Look for a bounce back year and better chemistry with his quarterback this season. In fairness, the chemistry can’t be worse than it was with Bortles and all his receivers in 2016 and that’s at no fault of Robinson.

I see a floor for a healthy Robinson this year at 75-1,200-10 and the upside is off the charts. 100-1,500-12 or better could still not be close to his ceiling. As long as he is healthy, I believe his talent is already elite. He just needs to remind everybody how good he is after a rough go of it the past two seasons.
