2018 NFL Quarterback Power Rankings, Week 2: Pretenders start to fall

32. Josh Allen/Nathan Peterman, Buffalo Bills
For some strange reason, the Buffalo Bills are still considering starting Nathan Peterman. No one knows what the second-year quarterback has on Sean McDermott, but it must be bad.

Blackmail may very well be the only reason he’s still with the team because he’s been atrocious whenever starting. After a five-pick performance in his lone start last season, Peterman started the opener with 24 yards and two picks on 5-of-18 passing. Yes, 5-of-18.
Josh Allen wasn’t much better with 74 yards on 6-of-15 passing, but he didn’t turn it over at all. He also wasn’t 5-of-18. If the Bills do start Peterman again, McDermott might as well put himself on the hot seat.
31. Sam Bradford, Arizona Cardinals
Injuries and dump off passes have been the M.O. for Sam Bradford in his career. Last season he was off to a 2-0 start with Minnesota and was finally throwing the ball downfield. He looked amazing in doing so, but then he was sidelined due to a knee injury. The Vikings moved on and he’s now leading the Arizona Cardinals — and in his first game, it was back to the dump off passes.
Bradford completed 20 passes for just 153 yards, which is the kind of production he kept putting up for the Rams, Eagles, and Vikings in year one. There’s a reason he’s had so many jobs.
