29. Buffalo Bills (27)

Things just continue to go from bad to worse for the Buffalo Bills. They went on the road in Week 7 to play the Indianapolis Colts — a team that came into the week with a 1-5 record. They were also well known as a team that’s struggling to find a balanced offense, but even worse has been the way they’ve played defense. You wouldn’t believe either of those statements if you judged them based simply on how they played against Buffalo.

The Bills were completely mismatched in this one. They were forced to turn to Derek Anderson at quarterback with Josh Allen hurting, but that wasn’t the problem. They also had to run it primarily with Chris Ivory following an injury to star running back LeSean McCoy. This also wasn’t the reason for their issues.

Instead, the problem is that this is just a bad roster. They’re not special in any area and they’re really hurting with pass catchers. If they do lose McCoy for any extended time, things will only get worse.

The one question remaining for Buffalo this season is if they want to pin this on head coach Sean McDermott. If so, he could quickly find himself on an incredibly hot seat.
