28. New York Giants (29): Play on Monday Night Football against Atlanta

The 2018 NFL Season hasn’t gone according to plan for the New York Giants. They were coming off a bad year but had hopes of a bounce-back season. That hope wasn’t unfounded as the Giants were set to get star receiver Odell Beckham, Jr. back after he missed the majority of the year before with an ankle injury.

OBJ wasn’t the only person who was expected to give the sputtering offense a shot in the arm. Running back Saquon Barkley was taken No. 2 overall and is a fantastic playmaker. He’s one of the better runners in the game but is also an able receiver in the passing game.

Even so, there were some who had concerns as quarterback Eli Manning has lost much of his touch. Those naysayers have been proven right to this point as the G-Men are coming off a brutal loss in Week 6 that gave them a 1-5 start.

There’s confidence among the players that they can right the ship, but that’s a tough ask given the start. If they could win against the Falcons on Monday Night Football though, maybe they can start to get themselves a few believers. Should they fall to 1-6, it’s probably time to consider seeing what Kyle Lauletta has under center — which lets them know how seriously they need to scout the incoming signal-callers.
