27. Cleveland Browns (26)

For the fourth time in seven games, the Cleveland Browns found themselves playing in an overtime game. They fell to 1-2-1 in those games and 2-4-1 overall on the season. It’s better than last year when they were 0-16, and 2016 when they were 1-15. Still, it’s unacceptable to be so close in so many games and keep finding dumb ways to lose.

Once again, the Browns proved to be an undisciplined team. They were penalized 14 times for 114 yards. They also showed no understanding of how to take advantage of a good opportunity. Their defense forced four turnovers, and they ended up scoring just one time off those.

The future still seems bright for the Browns. Baker Mayfield is legit under center and Myles Garrett recorded two sacks as he continues to prove to be one of the best young edge rushers in the game.

Talent aside, this team still just makes too many mistakes to be taken seriously just yet. If we are being honest, that falls on head coach Hue Jackson. He now owns a record of 3-35-1 with a 0-19 mark on the road for the Browns. They’ve tried all offseason to change their culture, but you can’t do that unless you change the guy in charge of that culture — which could be happening.
