Predicting the outcome of the entire 2019 NFL Playoffs

NFC Wild Card: Seattle Seahawks (5) at Dallas Cowboys (4)

There are a couple of smokin’ hot Wild Card teams right now, and the Seattle Seahawks are one of them. Much like the Colts, they came into the season with limited expectations following an offseason overhaul. Winning six of your last seven games can change a few perspectives, though.

So now, they head to Texas to take on the Cowboys in the first round. And while it might seem like an unfavorable matchup, I don’t think the Seahawks can be overlooked as the playoffs kick off. In fact, I’m predicting that they’ll send Jerry Jones home with a big ol’ loss to cry about.

As good as the Dallas defense has been all season, it’s difficult to bet against Russell Wilson. He’s a magician with the football in his hands, as we continue to see evidence of on a weekly basis. Tie that in with Seattle’s nearly unstoppable ground game and an underrated defense of their own, and you start to catch the scent of an upset.

Dak Prescott will do his best to keep things interesting, and the Cowboys will try to assert an aggressive run game of their own with Ezekiel Elliott. However, when the final whistle blows, it’ll be the Seahawks who come up with a key takeaway in the final minutes to extend their postseason stay.

Prediction: Seahawks defeat Cowboys
