2019 NFL Mock Draft: Kinnan’s final first-round projection
By Cory Kinnan
The worst kept secret in the NFL right now is the San Francisco 49ers’ love for Ohio State pass rusher Nick Bosa. With Murray going number one to the Cardinals, the Niners have a chance to get their guy and do not look back, making Bosa the second overall pick in the draft.

It is a shame Bosa went down just two and a half games into the 2018 season as there is not an accurate barometer of his production other than to say he was on a torrid pace. However, in his two years plus at Ohio State, Bosa has put together great film.
There is not be a better player at using his hands or with better technique in this draft class, and it is what has Bosa ranked atop this writer’s big board for pass rushers and second overall behind only Quinnen Williams. Bosa is not the biggest, fastest, or strongest guy off the edge in this class, but he is the most technically sound and has earned the merit of a top-three lock.
Testing better than his brother Joey did at the combine in 2016 before he ended up going third overall in the draft, Nick looks to one-up him here and heads to the Bay Area with the second pick in the draft. Thanksgiving dinners are not going to be fun when the little brother holds the bragging rights.
