Baltimore Ravens

The Baltimore Ravens won the AFC North last season, but then they lost their top pass rushers in free agency as Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith both joined new teams in the Arizona Cardinals and Green Bay Packers, respectively. Also gone is linebacker C.J. Mosley, who took a massive contract with the New York Jets.

They didn’t do much at all to replace those players, seemingly content to promote within. They did land Jaylon Ferguson out of Lousiana Tech in the third round, but he’s not expected to start out the gate.

In free agency, their biggest moves were to land safety Earl Thomas and running back Mark Ingram. The latter joins a crowded backfield that already featured Gus Edwards and Kenneth Dixon. They crowded it even more by adding Justice Hill in the fourth round.

Baltimore did try and address their wide receiver corps by selecting Marquise Brown in the first and Miles Boykin with their second pick in the third. This came after releasing Michael Crabtree, which opened up a roster spot.

In all, their defense isn’t as good up front and their offense has a lot of weapons but could be hamstrung by their quarterback who relies more on his legs than arm at this point.
