Wide Receiver: Rashard Higgins, Cleveland Browns

Contract: One year, $2.025 million

After his rookie contract ended, Rashard Higgins signed a one-year tender with the Browns for just over $2 million. That was a smart move for both sides as he was showing signs of coming into his own last season. He finished with 572 yards and four touchdowns off 39 receptions, which gives him a lot of hope for a big campaign in 2019.

A former fifth-round pick, Higgins should be heavily involved in the offense this year for Cleveland. He’s a solid route runner who can make contested catches look easy at times. He won’t be underpaid for long, but as of now, he is.

Wide Receiver: Julian Edelman, New England Patriots

Contract: Two years, $11 million

Julian Edelman ended up with a lot of guarantees in his deal as he was given a $5 million signing bonus, plus his 2018 season was fully guaranteed. On top of that, there’s another $2 million in injury guarantees as well. Still, for what he brings that’s nothing. In all honesty, the Pats could have fully guaranteed his whole deal and it would still be the biggest steal at the position.

Edelman isn’t the type of player who will wow with his stats, but he continually pulls in clutch plays for quarterback Tom Brady. He’s arguably the best slot receiver in the game and deserves much more than he’s being paid.
