Indianapolis Colts: 11-5

Remember all of those previous concerns surrounding Andrew Luck’s shoulder, and whether the Indianapolis Colts star would be able to stay healthy in 2019?

Despite the previous concerns, Luck wasted little time proving his shoulder would be just fine. He would even help lead the Colts to the playoffs before falling to the Kansas City Chiefs in the Divisional Round.

Frankly, Indianapolis had plenty of reasons to be upset over coming up short in the postseason the way the Colts did, but one can only imagine what 2019 is going to have in store for this team.

Originally, the Colts were expected to go through a year of rebuilding last season, while Luck adjusted to playing again after missing the entire 2017 season. That obviously was not the case.

By throwing for 39 touchdown passes to go along with Indianapolis reaching the playoffs, there’s a reason the Colts are considered one of the early favorites to make a run in the AFC. That is, as long as Luck manages to stay healthy.

Also, as much credit as Luck received for leading Indianapolis to a playoff appearance, the offensive line and defense also came through in a big way.

In other words, with the current group of talent the Colts have to work with, as long as they can survive the division along with a few tough games against other top contenders such as the Chiefs and the New Orleans Saints, this team could make a serious run in the AFC.

But most importantly, Luck needs to stay healthy, no matter what it takes.
