Hall of Fame chances for the 20 best NFL quarterbacks entering 2019

Dak Prescott
- Dallas Cowboys (2016-present)
The SEC is widely considered the best conference in college football. For a time, Dak Prescott was the best quarterback in the conference. A two-time First-Team All-SEC quarterback at Mississippi Staate, Prescott finished his career in style, throwing for 29 touchdowns against only five interceptions, showing incredible accuracy and ball control.
In the 2016 NFL Draft, Prescott fell all the way to the fourth round, where the Dallas Cowboys selected him to serve as the backup to Pro Bowl quarterback Tony Romo. During the preseason, Romo would end up breaking his back. Once Prescott was inserted as the starter, he did not look back and has become the leader of the franchise.
During his rookie season, Prescott exceeded any expectations of someone picked in the fourth round, winning the AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year award. In addition, he and fellow rookie Ezekiel Elliott helped the Cowboys to the best overall record in the NFC and the No. 1 seed in the NFC Playoffs.
For his work, Prescott was named a Pro Bowler as a rookie. He has since been named to one again, giving him two nods in his three seasons as the starter in Dallas. He has been incredibly consistent under center, throwing for at least 3,300 yards and 22 touchdowns in each season, while establishing himself as one of the better young quarterbacks in the NFL.
