3. Jason Peters – OT

It may be hard for some to believe, but Jason Peters’ career in the NFL didn’t actually begin with the Eagles. Peters was first a member of the Buffalo Bills, who signed him as an undrafted free agent in 2004.

Despite his size (over 300 pounds), he actually spent his college career at Arkansas as a tight end. Peters really didn’t learn how to play offensive tackle until he became a member of the Bills. Knowing this makes his accomplishments during his time in the league that much more impressive.

After five seasons with Buffalo, Peters was traded to Philadelphia in 2009 in exchange for a first- and fourth-round draft picks. For some, it seemed like a lot for the Eagles to give up at the time, but the talented offensive tackle proved to be worth everything they traded away to acquire him.

Peters was immediately inserted as Philadelphia’s starting left tackle in 2009 and he’s currently preparing to enter his 10th season with the team. During his time with the Eagles, the veteran offensive tackle has been voted to seven Pro Bowls and earned two First-Team All-Pro selections. Peters is easily one of the best offensive linemen to ever suit up for Philadelphia.

In their history, Bob Brown is the only Eagles offensive lineman to land in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. However, it wouldn’t come as a shock if Peters is given his own gold jacket one day.
