2. Trevon Coley, DT

Through the first two games of the preseason, Browns veteran defensive tackle Trevon Coley has made some splashes with his ability to create pressure up the middle. And while he only has three tackles to his credit, his impact has still been felt when you watch the film. However, he’s still a player battling for a roster spot and needs to prove that he’s a player that needs to be kept in the final 53.

Coley needs a strong performance against the run against the Buccaneers as that’s been his most lackluster area to this point. For a team that’s starved for death at defensive tackle to help spell Larry Ogunjobi and Sheldon Richardson, Coley has the chance to step up and prove he’s a guy capable of doing just that with a strong showing in Week 3 of the preseason.

1. Austin Corbett, OL

Selected in the second round of the 2018 draft, people were excited about the prospects of Austin Corbett as he developed in the NFL. Having said that, the optimism hasn’t materialized into quality play on the field for the interior offensive lineman. He’s struggled consistently when on the field, even with flashes of the player that people hope he can become.

As the Browns are trying to sort out their offensive line still, Corbett is in legitimate jeopardy of not making the 53-man roster at this point. He needs to come out strong and have his best performance of the preseason in both run and pass blocking against the Buccaneers on Friday night. If he doesn’t, his time with Cleveland might be coming to a close.
