28. Detroit Lions (30)

The Detroit Lions scored a win following their loss this weekend. During their game against the Buffalo Bills, they saw two very important members of the team leave the game due to injury. Center Frank Ragnow and linebacker Jarrad Davis were both hurt in the game but good news followed.

Head coach Matt Patricia spoke with reporters after the game and said that neither player will miss the entire season and made it sound as though they shouldn’t miss too much time.

"“I would say, in regards to Frank and JD, obviously two guys that had some injuries last night, just to let everybody know, these injuries are not season-ending,” Patricia said via Justin Rogers of The Detroit News. “They’ll be healing day-by-day. We’re still evaluating where they’ll be at. The one great thing about these two guys is they have tremendous work ethic and we know they’ll be working as hard as they can to get back as soon as possible.”"

Detroit still has a long way to go in order to make some noise in their division. Matthew Stafford and the offense need to find a way to capture some of their old magic and the defense has to finally start clicking under Patricia. It won’t be impossible, but they’re not entering the season expected to be a contender.
