NFL Power Rankings 2019: Andrew Luck shakes up the league

Sam Darnold has plenty of believers and he should be a good pro. The problem is, he’s still young and learning the game — and even entered the NFL without a lot of experience at USC. This preseason, the light seems to be coming on even more for Darnold but there’s a problem with expecting him to have a great season — he doesn’t have the best weapons.
Yes, Le’Veon Bell was a superstar addition and if he’s even close to what he was for the Pittsburgh Steelers, he is going to cause problems for opponents. Bell is not only a stud when running the ball, but he also gives Darnold a great safety valve as he’s just as dangerous as a receiver.
They also have a solid deep threat in Robby Anderson, who ripped off a 41-yarder this past week to remind us all how quickly he can strike. The problem is, he’s not incredibly consistent, and neither is any other wideout on the team. They also have a subpar offensive line which could cause them issues.
Still, their defense is good and they made another underrated move in adding Ty Montgomery. The former Green Bay running back is also great at catching the ball out of the backfield, but they need more consistency outside of the running backs.
