Arizona Cardinals – Over/Under Line: 5.5

Few teams in the NFL are as intriguing as the Arizona Cardinals. With No. 1 overall pick Kyler Murray at quarterback and new head coach Kliff Kingsbury taking over, everyone is excited to see what this offense is going to look like. If nothing else, they should be exciting as we see just how successful the air-raid style of offense translates from college to the professional level.

Even if the Cards are exciting, though, they aren’t going to be good. With a suspect offensive line and a defense that has gaping holes at each level, Arizona just isn’t in a position where they’re going to be able to win on a weekly basis and a rookie quarterback-head coach combo doesn’t help matters. The Cardinals will have another high pick in the 2020 NFL Draft as they hit the under.

Pick: Under

Atlanta Falcons – Over/Under Line: 8.5

A strong argument could be made that the NFC South is the strongest division in the NFL for 2019. Looking that the Over/Under win totals, that indeed appears to be the case and the Atlanta Falcons are a testament to that. This is a team that missed the playoffs last season but you have to believe that their defense can’t have as bad of injury luck as they did a season ago.

With guys like Deion Jones and Keanu Neal back in the fold, the Falcons seem likely to rebound defensively. Pair that with an Atlanta offense that we’ve seen be exceptionally explosive in recent memory and the Falcons have the potential to compete with anyone that’s on their schedule. That should lead to a bounce-back year where they hit the over and compete for a spot in the postseason.
