1. WR Odell Beckham Jr.

While this Monday night match-up was not against the organization that dealt him to the Cleveland Browns this offseason, it was billed as his return to MetLife Stadium. And wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. showed in primetime vs. the New York Jets that there’s no place like East Rutherford, New Jersey.

While teammate Baker Mayfield wasn’t super sharp in the club’s 23-3 victory, getting the ball to his newest star wideout was obviously a priority. And Beckham rewarded his quarterback and his team with a nice performance. He hauled in six of the 10 passes thrown his way, good for 161 yards and one score. More than half of that latter total came late in the third quarter as he took a short toss from Mayfield and turned it into an 89-yard touchdown.

On the Browns’ first drive of the evening, the six-year pro did what he does best. His one-handed grab for 33 yards put the ball on the Jets’ 4-yard-line. Cleveland would settle for a field goal and Beckham’s sudden absence (due to a visor issue) may have played a factor in the team’s inability to punch the ball into the end zone.
