Kicker
Start: Ka’imi Fairbairn, HOU (vs. KC)
After a slow, up and down start for the Texans, they exploded for 53 points in Week 5 and that bodes well for anyone who had a piece of that offense. Fairbairn has only missed four field goals all year and two of them were 50+ yards out.
The Chiefs defense is very fantasy-friendly as they’ve only had two 10-point fantasy outings all year. The Chiefs give up a lot of points and the Texans score a lot of points — it’s a recipe for a bounce-back game for Fairbairn who missed two extra points last week and this should be the week he gets back on track to being a top-five kicker you drafted him to be.
Sit: Aldrick Rosas, NYG (vs. NE)
This is the same case for Rosas as it was for Jones. The Giants offense just isn’t good enough to warrant Rosas a starting spot on your fantasy football team in Week 6. They’re going up against by far the best defense in the NFL.
While Rosas has had a nice season all around making all of his kicks thus far, much like everyone else, I expect a Patriots rout of the Giants and I do not want any part of the Giants offensively or defensively. Unfortunately for Rosas, he falls into that as well.
Some viable replacements for Week 6 are: Mason Crosby, GB (vs. DET), Chris Boswell, PIT (vs. LAC), Brandon McManus, DEN (vs. TEN).
