4. Carolina Panthers
Believe it or not, the Carolina Panthers have won three games in a row since their shocking Week 2 loss to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, as Kyle Allen deserves a ton of credit for helping run the offense with Cam Newton sidelined.
But if the Panthers aren’t careful, they could be in for being on the wrong end of a sweep against their division rivals since the Buccaneers would love nothing more than to get back to .500 on the season with a meaningful win in London.
Unlike most teams, Tampa Bay found a way to keep Christian McCaffrey in check during Week 2 by limiting the star running back to just 37 rushing yards on 16 carries, and while it won’t be easy to do this again, it’s certainly possible.
Carolina shouldn’t be fooled by Tampa Bay’s 2-3 record since their Week 4 win over the Los Angeles Rams is another example of how this team is capable of competing with the best of teams.
Not to mention, if the Buccaneers are feeling extra motivated to put on a good show for the fans in London since they rarely get to see NFL teams, this could result in bad news for the Panthers.
