2. Seahawks offense puts up 50 points

While the Falcons as a team have struggled this season, the defense has noticeably been worse off than the offense. If the defense played even decently, Atlanta could have won in Weeks 3, 5, and 6. In Week 3, Indianapolis defeated the Falcons 27-24.

In Week 5, Atlanta’s offense scored 32 points, but the Houston Texans scored 52. The following week, Atlanta put up 33 points, but Kyler Murray and Arizona scored 34.

In case you didn’t catch on, the Falcons aren’t able to stop opposing offenses. The team’s defense has allowed 223 points which are the most in the league this season. The Miami Dolphins are the only other team that has allowed over 200 points (211).

For comparison, the New England Patriots have only given up 46 points this season. The Falcons have also allowed the sixth-most yards per game (387.7) to opposing teams this season.

While the Seahawks don’t have a great offense, they’re more than capable of capitalizing on Atlanta’s bad defense. Seattle’s offense is recording 391.6 total yards per game, which ranks fifth in the NFL. The Seahawks have scored 181 points, which ranks ninth in the league. The Texans, who scored 52 points against Atlanta in Week 5, have 185 points this season.
