Leonard Fournette will run for over 200 yards

Jacksonville prides itself as a power run offense. Fournette is the key to the running attack. He is running better than he did in 2017. Fournette is the second leading NFL rusher with 715 yards. You can expect him to have nearly 1000 yards by the week 10 bye week. He has to be the top candidate for the NFL Comeback Player of the Year.

Clearly, he owes his success to the Jaguars offensive line. They have created running lanes for him all season long. Hopefully, the offensive line can stay healthy this season.

Currently, there are three linemen on the injury report. Cam Robinson, Andrew Norwell and Brandon Linder are listed as limited participation in practice. They should be ready for the game on Sunday.

Fournette gets better as the game unfolds. The more carries he gets, the better he is late in the game. In the last four games, he has twenty or more carries. Fournette trained in Wyoming in the offseason just for this moment.

Jacksonville will hammer the Jets defense with Fournette left and Fournette right. Especially when the Jets least expect it, look for Fournette up the middle. Fournette’s running will open up the play-action passing game.
