2. Jones, Williams combine for 225 total yards

Aaron Jones has finally seen his workload increase in the Green Bay Packers offense this season and he’s been taking full advantage. The UTEP product has 466 yards and eight touchdowns on 114 carries through eight games while also catching 34 passes for 355 yards and three scores. Perhaps just as impressively, he’s done this while still sharing time with Jamaal Williams.

Playing in just six full games this season, Williams has proven one of the better backup running backs in the league. He has 50 carries for 218 yards and one touchdown while also chipping in 19 receptions for 127 yards and four touchdowns. This duo has been a problem for every team Green Bay has faced and that will continue against LA.

The Chargers run defense has been quite poor throughout their 3-5 start to the 2019 campaign. They rank 23rd in rushing yards allowed per game, conceding 122.8 yards per game to opponents on the year. Mind you, that’s with teams like the Dolphins, Texans and Lions on the schedule already, teams who have struggled to run the ball consistently.

With the prowess of Jones and Williams and their ability to catch the ball out of the backfield, the Bolts are not going to have an answer for the Packers’ running back arsenal. At the end of the day, in some manner or fashion, the two backs will combine to have at least 225 total yards and find the end zone at least twice.
