9. Lions upset Cowboys with Driskel at quarterback

First off, this prediction is being made with the assumption that Matthew Stafford will be forced to miss a second game in a row due to a back injury, meaning Jeff Driskel will most likely be running the show against the Dallas Cowboys.

All things considered, Driskel deserves some credit for nearly helping the Lions pull off the win last weekend over the Chicago Bears since the circumstances were difficult for the backup quarterback.

For starters, Driskel didn’t even find out until the weekend that he would be starting on Sunday as a result of Stafford’s injury, and was at a disadvantage for not taking the proper approach all week in practice leading up to the contest.

As for what to expect in Week 11, Driskel and the Lions are in one of those positions in which every win will be extremely important moving forward just to have a fighting shot in the NFC playoff picture.

Even though the Cowboys will be extra motivated to bounce back after their tough loss at home Sunday night to the Minnesota Vikings, a win by the Lions would help Driskel make a statement over having what it takes to be a reliable quarterback in the NFL.
