4. Cooper, Gallup both top 100 yards

Anyone that thought the Amari Cooper trade was a bad idea for the Dallas Cowboys is looking quite silly at this point. The former Raider has been an absolute star in this offense as he and Dak Prescott developed immediate chemistry together last season and that has only grown this season. Just last week, even in the loss, Cooper dominated with 11 catches for 147 yards and a score.

Meanwhile, Cooper’s running mate in the wide receiver corps, Michael Gallup, has been enjoying an impressive sophomore season with the Cowboys. Though you’d like to see his catch rate go up from where it’s at (33 grabs on 56 targets), his overall stats of 530 receiving yards and three touchdowns for the season have certainly put the Colorado State product on the map.

Despite the money that the Cowboys paid Ezekiel Elliott right before the start of the regular season, Dak Prescott and the passing attack have been this team’s greatest weapon in 2019. That matches up perfectly for Dallas as they face the Lions in Week 11 as Detroit has struggled mightily to stop opponents from moving the ball through the air, especially of late.

Though there are plenty of mouths to feed in the Cowboys passing attack, it’s abundantly clear that Cooper and Gallup are his primary targets. And though Darius Slay is a fine player, the Lions won’t have an answer for either of Dallas’ top two pass-catchers. Both Cooper and Gallup will burn Detroit throughout the day and finish up with at least 100 yards apiece.
