2019 NFL picks, score predictions for Week 13
Los Angeles Rams (6-5) at Arizona Cardinals (3-7-1)
Sunday, December 1, 4:05PM ET
The Los Angeles Rams hit rock bottom on Monday night when they suffered their worst home loss at the Coliseum in team history. As the long saying goes, there’s nowhere to go from here but up, right? With the Arizona Cardinals next on the schedule, that could very well be true.
Put simply, the Rams need a win in the worst of ways. They’re technically still in the hunt, but the gap between them and the sixth seed in the NFC is verging on insurmountable. Suffering a loss at the hands of an underwhelming and uneven Cardinals team isn’t an option if they plan on tasting the postseason.
The good thing about facing Arizona is they’ll be going up against one of the worst defenses in the NFL. Jared Goff is having an awful season, but we know what he’s capable of when he’s in the zone. Against the Cardinals, we could finally see him flip the switch and get back into the grove that got Los Angeles to the Super Bowl a season ago.
Don’t discount Kyler Murray and the Cardinals offense, which can catch fire as well. Unfortunately for them, their defense just can’t keep the other team out of the end zone. Look for the Rams to get back on track here with a win they can’t afford to leave in Glendale.
Prediction: Rams win 37-35
