Pittsburgh Steelers (7-5) at Arizona Cardinals (3-8-1)

Sunday, December 8, 4:25PM ET

Despite their obvious limitations, the Pittsburgh Steelers continue to rack up wins. They’re in the driver’s seat for one of the AFC’s Wild Card spots, and are looking strong down the stretch. Third-string quarterbacks may not get them by forever, but it’s working for the time being.

It should work against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 14 as well. While not exactly a worrisome foe by most standards, the Cardinals have limped their way through the 2019 campaign. There were larger expectations on this franchise coming into the year with a new head coach and top draft pick at quarterback, but they seemed to loftier than the team was prepared to meet.

Against the Steelers, Arizona will again struggle to move the football. They were utterly outplayed by the Los Angeles Rams in Week 13, and face a similarly tough Pittsburgh defense that thrives on pressuring quarterbacks and creating turnovers. Seeing as the Cardinals’ front five has been a sieve this season, I expect more of the same on Sunday.

This Cardinals team has promise with Kyler Murray under center and Kliff Kingsbury running the show. Unfortunately there are just too many missing pieces at this moment. The Steelers will benefit from those shortcomings to the tune of another victory.

Prediction: Steelers win 28-10
