10. Hodges throws four interceptions again

The good news for the Pittsburgh Steelers is despite coming up short last Sunday against the Buffalo Bills, Mike Tomlin’s steam still control their own playoff destiny in the AFC.

If the regular season were to end today, the Steelers would currently enter the playoffs as the No. 6 seed in the AFC and could make a surprise run since before their loss to the Bills, this was a team that previously won seven of eight games.

From a realistic perspective, a matchup with the New York Jets in Week 16 would seem like the perfect scenario for Pittsburgh, although chances are there will be revenge on the mind of Le’Veon Bell facing his former team.

Still, as great of a matchup as this seems for the Steelers, the Jets would love nothing more than to play the spoiler role by handing Pittsburgh a loss, and help cool Adam Gase’s seat a little bit since it’s been heating up in recent weeks.

One of the reasons behind the Steelers coming up short on Sunday against the Bills was due to Devlin Hodges displaying a performance to forget after tossing four interceptions in the loss.

New York’s defense is nowhere near the same level as the Bills, but the unit is still good enough to make it a long afternoon for Hodges and put the Steelers at risk of slipping out that final playoff spot.
