All season, the Cowboys received all sorts of criticism for always coming up short against legitimate contenders, and making it seem like they deserve anything but one of the spots in the playoffs.
Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether Dallas does in fact deserve a spot in the playoffs, but for now, the main focus for Dallas is making sure they find a way to clinch the NFC East on Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.
Just the fact that Philadelphia is even in the race for the NFC East title this late in the season when looking at all of the injuries the team has been dealing with is truly incredible, and if they were to hand Dallas a loss in Week 16, it would make them feel much better about the situation.
The Cowboys were able to win with ease during the first meeting between these two rivals back in October, but the circumstances are completely different this time around.
Since the Eagles will have a hostile environment of fans cheering them on, the Cowboys better hope the team from before Week 15 doesn’t show up, or the pressure will be on the following weekend against the Washington Redskins.
