52. . . Previous: 30th. Jacksonville Jaguars. 30. team

Speaking of teams dealing with quarterback situations this offseason, it will be interesting to see what the Jacksonville Jaguars decide to move forward with Nick Foles or Gardner Minshew as the starter.

Last offseason, there was plenty of excitement surrounding the Jaguars signing the former Super Bowl MVP after finally moving on from Blake Bortles, only to watch Foles struggle for the most part in 2019.

Of course, Foles deserves some benefit of the doubt since he suffered a broken collarbone in Week 1, and struggled to play catch up later on in the season once the quarterback was healthy enough to return.

But while Foles was out, Minshew did provide the kind of spark Jacksonville was looking for on offense and even earned the rights to finish the year as the starter from head coach Doug Marrone.

Moving forward with Minshew as the starter would be one of the most unexpected surprises for 2020, but also easier said than done for the Jaguars since Foles has all that guaranteed money tied up in his contract.

In other words, Jacksonville may not have a choice other than to stick with Foles for at least another season due to the financial commitment alone.
