Previous: 29th. Carolina Panthers. 29. team. 87. .

The offseason is only a couple of weeks old for the Carolina Panthers, but the team has already experienced numerous changes, both good and bad.

For starters, Panthers fans should be thrilled over Joe Brady joining Matt Rhule’s coaching staff as the new offensive coordinator after looking at the impact made at LSU this past season working with Joe Burrow.

But when it comes to the defensive side of the football, it’s going to be nearly impossible to replace Luke Kuechly at linebacker after the defender made the surprise announcement last week to call it a career by retiring.

First off, no one should be criticizing Kuechly for this decision when looking at all of the concussions he experienced over the years and should wish nothing but the best for the now former Panthers linebacker.

Over the years, Kuechly has easily been one of the key leaders on Carolina’s defense, and while they will certainly look for a solid replacement in the offseason, it’s safe to say he is one of a kind.

Take all of this into consideration with the fact that Carolina still seems to be uncertain over Cam Newton’s future with the team, it’s crazy to think the offseason is only a few weeks old for the Panthers when seeing all of the news taking place.
