Philadelphia Eagles: Ranking 13 opponents on 2020 schedule
11. Cleveland Browns (Away)
Much has occurred for the Browns since these two teams played each other back in 2016. In fact, that last meeting was Wentz’s first career start. Since then, the Browns have fired two head coaches but they have also added Baker Mayfield, Odell Beckham Jr., Jarvis Landry and Myles Garrett.
For the Eagles’ sake, it would be preferable if the offensive line does not go up against Garrett as many speculate that he will be suspended for a few games next season due to his helmet-swinging incident with Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph back in November.
If Garrett does return for Week 1 of 2020, he will be expected to be in the running for Defensive Player of the Year. The Browns certainly had a disappointing 2019, but there are high hopes, especially for the offense with new head coach Kevin Stefanski.

10. Washington Redskins (Home and Away)
The Eagles won both meetings against the Redskins in 2019, with one of them being a crucial win back in December as Wentz connected with Greg Ward for the game-winning touchdown. There will be much optimism for Washington in 2020 as they hired new head coach Ron Rivera and signed Jack Del Rio to be their defensive coordinator.
The defense could be a problem for the Eagles as they’re under new guidance and quarterback Dwayne Haskins will be anticipated to improve throughout his sophomore season. With the Redskins picking second in April’s draft, they will be anticipated to select defensive end Chase Young from Ohio State. He could become a nightmare for the Eagles’ offensive line if they have to face him twice in one season.
9. New York Giants (Home and Away)
These teams showcased hard-fought battles in 2019 and they will only look to be better next season. The Giants recently hired Joe Judge as their new head coach and former Cowboys’ head coach Jason Garrett was handpicked as the team’s offensive coordinator.
New York will feature a young foundation on offense with quarterback Daniel Jones entering his sophomore season and running back Saquon Barkley ready for a full year after dealing with injuries in 2019.
8. Los Angeles Rams (Home)
Eagles’ fans are certain that Wentz will have this game circled on his calendar since the last time he played against the Rams, he suffered a torn ACL. Since the injury, Wentz has missed out on a Super Bowl run and he has dealt with many critics for not being durable and even not being considered the better quarterback over savior Nick Foles.
The Rams may have missed out on the playoffs this past season but they will be expected to be a contender once again as they return a lot of star power in Jared Goff, Todd Gurley, Cooper Kupp, Aaron Donald and Jalen Ramsey.
