NFL Power Rankings 2020: Chiefs enter next year on top after Super Bowl win
By Dan Parzych
Finishing with just two wins all season was obviously frustrating for the Cincinnati Bengals since the team should consider themselves lucky for avoiding the wrong side of history by almost going winless, but at least they still managed to earn the top overall pick in the draft.

Even if it may seem unfair to go with Joe Burrow at No. 1 since the results of this past season weren’t entirely Andy Dalton’s fault, the Bengals need to do what is best for the organization moving forward.
Since Dalton has received plenty of opportunities to prove himself worthy of being the start over the years, a fresh start with someone younger like Burrow seems like the best option for Cincinnati.
Plus, the last thing the Bengals want to do is pass on Burrow with all his potential, and look back down the road regretting their decision to pass on the LSU star when this seems to have the potential to be a franchise-changing move.
Part of the reason behind the hiring of Zac Taylor in 2019 was due to his history of working with Jared Goff as a member of the Los Angeles Rams, and the addition of Burrow could work wonders for the Bengals in the long run.
