Lamical Perine is the prototype for the modern NFL running back. At 5-11 and just under 220 pounds, Perine accounted for 938 scrimmage yards and 11 touchdowns while averaging nearly six yards per touch this past season with the Florida Gators.

While Leonard Fournette had a good year with nearly 1,700 yards from scrimmage, he has dealt with injuries throughout his career. Perine could be the next late-round running back that plays a pivotal role in the success of his team’s offense, either as injury insurance for Fournette or as a complementary piece behind him.

Robert Landers is a guy with a very good first step who uses his quick feet to beat you with his first move. He showed that in Ohio State’s 2019 season opener against Florida Atlantic when he beat the left guard out of the stance and made his way to the quarterback with ease.

If anything, Landers can be a solid depth guy that the Jags can utilize in special teams and in certain situations up front in their 4-3 alignment. A few years of learning in a backup role could perhaps lead him to play a bigger role in the defensive front in the future.

WR. Jacksonville Jaguars. Antonio Gandy-Golden. 7. player. 52.

Much like Cooper Kupp from a few years ago, Antonio Gandy-Golden could go from a guy you may have never heard of to late-round steal. His 6-4, 220-pound frame gives him advantages in jump balls over smaller corners and his great hands make him a trustworthy target.

Back to back years of 70+ catches and 10 touchdowns show his capability of making big plays and being a reliable No. 1 receiver but being at a small school is going to be the main contributor in his late-round availability because his stock just isn’t that high. If you’re the Jaguars, however, why not take a shot at a player with his physical tools?
