Wide Receiver. Las Vegas Raiders. CeeDee Lamb. 12. player. 28.

Two years ago, the Las Vegas Raiders decided to bring Jon Gruden back for a second stint as head coach with the hope he would help Derek Carr elevate his game to new levels on offense.

While this could very well still turn out to be the case, the Raiders have plenty of reasons to feel frustrated about the overall disappointment from the previous two seasons, as it’s safe to say the pressure is on for both Gruden and Carr in 2020.

Not to mention, with the Raiders preparing for their season in Las Vegas, this will put even more pressure on the team over the next few months.

If Las Vegas fails to take advantage of free agency and the draft, Gruden and the Raiders could end up watching the playoffs from home once again.

So if the Raiders really want to put themselves in the best position to make sure this doesn’t happen, they should at least use one of their two picks from the first round on a wide receiver to help take some of the pressure off Carr.

CeeDee Lamb appears to have the kind of skill set that could result in the Oklahoma product becoming Carr’s favorite target immediately in the passing game, and the 25 touchdown catches over the last two seasons will back the claim up.
