C.J. Henderson. 25. 60. Scouting Report. CB. Florida. player. Pick Analysis

Few players had as impressive of a showing, specifically in the defensive back group, at the NFL Combine than C.J. Henderson. He was fast, explosive and incredibly sound in all of the on-field drills. Though there are concerns about his tackling, his ability to cover is not in question and the Vikings need someone with that in their arsenal. Xavier Rhodes might be gone and, though there are young players on the roster, Henderson could potentially be an upgrade overall.

Jeff Gladney. player. Pick Analysis. TCU. 26. 58. Scouting Report. CB

(via Dolphins) While Jeff Gladney was not an unreal athlete that many people thought he might be in terms of testing, he’s still plenty athletic when he’s on the field. Moreover, he’s an effective coverage player that has the potential to be a true No. 1 corner in the NFL. After letting Josh Norman go and having few answers at the position, Washington uses their newly acquired first-rounder to help out the secondary.

Kenneth Murray. player. 56. Scouting Report. LB. Oklahoma. Pick Analysis. 27

TRADE Alert: Bengals send No. 33, 129, 2021 fifth-round pick to Seahawks for No. 27

When the Bengals were consistently making the playoffs with Marvin Lewis at the helm, they were always dangerous at linebacker — and that’s not a statement on Vontaze Burfict. Cincinnati needs to get back to that, so they get aggressive and trade back into the first round ahead of linebacker-needy Baltimore and Green Bay to get Kenneth Murray.

The Oklahoma product was injured at the Combine during his second 40 run but was a tackling machine in college. His ability to move sideline-to-sideline and attack against the run while also cover well will make him an immediate centerpiece for the Bengals defense.

26. Pick Analysis. WR. Denzel Mims. player. Scouting Report. Baylor. 28

Denzel Mims had one of the most impressive Combine performances of any of the wide receivers in the 2020 NFL Draft class. He was faster, more explosive and simply more athletic than I expected him to be. And he should very much be in the first round conversation now, especially for a team like the Ravens.

Baltimore needs more reliable pass-catchers and Mims has experience being that. He can come in and offer a bigger body but still keep a high-octane offense moving given what he showed in Indianapolis this past week.
