Buffalo Bills land potential star cornerback in 7-round 2020 mock draft

Last season, Jordan Phillips took advantage of his chance with the Buffalo Bills. He ended up leading the team in sacks but then left in free agency as the Arizona Cardinals gave him a contract bigger than the Bills were willing to pay.
Part of that also had to do with Ed Oliver, the No. 9 overall pick in 2019 playing the same position as Phillips. Oliver will get more snaps but they could use another player to add depth — which is where Khalil Davis comes in.
He doesn’t play powerful enough to be a traditional one-technique but Davis can serve as a solid backup to Oliver and it wouldn’t be surprising to see them both on the field at the same time on passing downs.
With their sixth-round pick, the Bills add some depth to the offensive line by selecting Terence Steele from Texas Tech. Steele looks as though he was born to play tackle in the NFL, coming in at 6-6 and 312 pounds and 35 and 1/8 inch arms.
He also has plenty of experience as a four-year starter. Offensive linemen from Texas Tech don’t get the love they deserve which helps the Bills land a potential contributor late in this draft. With a little coaching, he can be a solid swing tackle that can play in a pinch.
