Buffalo Bills land potential star cornerback in 7-round 2020 mock draft

Last season, the Bills added Dawson Knox who quickly became their No. 1 tight end. Considered a project player, Knox had 28 receptions for 388 yards and two touchdowns. That might not sound like a lot but considering how raw he was coming into the league, that’s very promising.
With that being said, the Bills add some depth behind Knox here with Mitchell Wilcox out of USF. A fifth-year senior, Wilcox had his best season in 2018 when he had 540 yards receiving. He did still manage 350 yards and five touchdowns this past season but he seems like more of a projection player, which is what you get in the sixth-round.
Still, his ability as a route runner and his soft hands should be enough for him to get some fans in Buffalo.
In the seventh and final round of the draft, the Buffalo Bills grab a player who has a background in basketball and football. Colton McKivitz played tackle for the West Virginia Mountaineers but due to his arm length, he’s projected as a guard here, which is where he likely has the best chance at carving out an NFL career for himself.
He was a four-year starter known for his nastiness on the line, which will make him a favorite to fans and teammates alike.
