Defensive Tackle. South Carolina. Javon Kinlaw. 9. player. Pick Analysis. 60. Scouting Report

Current Pick: No. 22, No. 25

Speaking of teams with multiple picks in the first round, the Minnesota Vikings happen to be another team that picked up an extra selection this offseason thanks to a trade that sent Stefon Diggs to the Buffalo Bills.

Time will tell when it comes to seeing whether the Vikings end up regretting this trade since Diggs has proven to be quite a speedy threat over the years, but at least having multiple picks in the first round should help them find a potential replacement.

What helps Minnesota even more in this situation is with two picks in the first round, this means they could easily address a top need on each side of the football if they desire.

Not to mention, the Vikings could always use one of the picks to trade up, and not have to worry about waiting until the following round to make their first selection since Minnesota will have an extra one to work with.

If the Vikings do end up deciding to trade up, and want to focus on improving the defensive side of the football, Javon Kinlaw seems like he could be a worthy prospect to consider.

Between Kinlaw’s explosive style of play along with unbelievable upper body strength, an addition like this could put Minnesota in better position to earn another trip to the playoffs during the 2020 playoffs, and even help the Vikings advance past the Divisional Round.
